First-year BTech classes in Kerala from Monday

Thiruvananthapuram: The first-year BTech and BDes courses at the engineering colleges under the Kerala Technological University (KTU) will start on November 30.

The regular academic programme will begin online after awareness classes, which would be held till December 5. During these 17 awareness sessions, noted scientific and technological experts, IIT faculty and others will interact with students. College principals and KTU officers also are slated to take part in the event.

While nine of these sessions would be conducted by the KTU, the remaining eight are to be arranged by the colleges. All the sessions will be webcast live on KTU's Facebook page.
