Hyderabad: Vice President of India, M Venkaiah Naidu has tested positive for COVID-19.

The vice president's official twitter account confirmed the development on Sunday.

"He has decided to remain in self-isolation for a week. He has advised all those who came in contact with him to isolate themselves and get tested," reads the tweet.

Earlier on the day, Naidu had tweeted a picture of him paying floral tributes to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on his 125th birth anniversary.
