Kollam: The Southern Railway has notified partial cancellation of services or restrictions from November 22 to 28 as maintenance work is to be undertaken on tracks near Ochira station. The Ernakulam-Kollam Passenger service (56391) via Kottayam will not operate on November 22 and 23. The Palakkad-Tirunelveli Palaruvi Express (16792) will be cancelled between Kayamkulam and Punalur on the same date.

The Kollam-Kottayam passenger (56394) and the Kollam- Ernakulam passenger (56392) have been partially cancelled from November 22 to 28 between Kollam and Kayamkulam.

The following trains will be delayed by half an hour between Ochira and Kayamkulam on the 24th: Veraval-Thiruvananthapuram Express (16333), Thiruvananthapuram-Mangaluru Maveli Express (16604), Thiruvananthapuram-Mangaluru Malabar Express (16629), Kollam-Ernakulam Memu (66310), Kollam-Vizag Express (18568), Thiruvananthapuram-Mangaluru Express (16347), Thiruvananthapuram-Madurai Amrutha Express (16343), Chennai Egmore-Guruvayur Express (16127).

Delays would affect the following trains on November 25: Nagercoil-Mangaluru Eranad Express (16606) will be held up at Karunagapalli for 50 minutes. A delay of up to 30 minutes can be expected in this area for the Tirunelveli-Palakkad Palaruvi Express (16791), Tirunelveli- Bilaspur Express (22620), Guruvayur-Chennai Express (16128), Mangaluru- Thiruvananthapuram Express (16348), Mangaluru- Thiruvananthapuram Maveli Express (16603), and Chennai- Thiruvananthapuram superfast express.

On 27th, the Nagercoil-Mangaluru Eranad Express (16606) and Tirunelveli-Palakkad Palaruvi Express (16791) will be held up at Karunagapalli for 50 minutes.

On 28th, the Kollam-Ernakulam Passenger (56392) will not run between Kollam and Kayamkulam. The Tirunelveli-Palakkad Palaruvi Express (16791) will be held up at Karunagapalli for an hour. The Thiruvananthapuram-Shoranur Venad Express (16302) will remain at Karunagapalli for 10 minutes.

The Nagercoil-Mangaluru Eranad Express (16606) will depart 90 minutes late. It will leave Nagercoil at 3.30 am instead of 2 am.
