Kochi: The Kerala Police on Thursday withdrew the allegations of terror links raised against three Youth Congress workers in connection with a protest following the suicide of law student Mofia Parvin in Aluva.

The modified report was submitted to the court with a clarification that the police had erred while compiling the report.

Two police officers were on Sunday suspended for the unwarranted remarks in the case.

The two officers had stated in the custody application that the three Youth Congress workers -- Al Ameen Ashraf, M A K Najeeb and Anas Pallikkuzhi -- who protested outside the Aluva police station, had terror links.

The case was filed for destruction of public property during protest.

The Congress party had protested at the police station for three days accusing Aluva Station House Officer CL Sudheer for provoking Mofia and leading her to commit the extreme step.

Mofia Parvin, a law student, had committed suicide on November 22 alleging that she was subject domestic violence by her husband and family. In the suicide note, she alleged that Sudheer misbehaved with her and father when they approached the police for relief.

Sudheer was suspended following the Congress protest.
