Three from Alappuzha killed in Goa accident, 1 critical

Panaji: Three Keralites hailing from Alappuzha district were killed in a road accident in Goa.

 

The dead are Vishnu (29), Kannan (24) and Chandu — all residents of Valiazheekal on the Alappuzha coast.

 

Two others with them were also injured and are currently admitted to the taluk hospital at Chicalim in Mormugao. The injured are Akhil and Vinod Kumar, both 24 years.

 

Akhil is reportedly in a critical condition, though Vinod received only minor injuries.

 

The car in which they were travelling was involved in the accident that occurred at Sancoale in South Goa in the intervening night of Thursday and Friday.

 

The car hit the median on a stretch of the National Highway 66B, near Zuari Gate, reports from Goa stated.
