Over 30 injured as KSRTC bus overturns near Ettumanoor

The accident happened at 2.30 am on the Main Central Road at Adichira locality, 7 km north of Kottayam town

Ettumanoor: Over 30 passengers onboard a Super-Fast bus of the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation were injured as it overturned near here in Kottayam district early on Tuesday.

The accident happened at 2.30 am on the Main Central Road at Adichira locality, 7 km north of Kottayam town. Ettumanoor too is about 7 km away from Adichira.

The bus was bound for Mattupetty in Munnar from Thiruvananthapuram. The accident occurred 15 minutes after the bus left the KSRTC depot in Kottayam town.

The injured have been admitted to the Kottayam Medical College Hospital, which is only a few kilometres from the accident spot.

Traffic was disrupted on MC Road for a while soon after the accident
