Film-theatre actor Kainakari Thankaraj passes away

Kollam: Popular film and theatre artist Kainakari Thankaraj passed away in Kerala's Kollam district on Sunday. He was 76. He breathed his last at his home in Velamkonam in Keralapuram. The roles he played in recent releases like 'Ee Ma Yau' and 'Home' had attracted wide attention.

Thankaraj shot to prominence recently by donning the lead role of Vavachcan in the movie 'Ee Ma Yau' directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery. He was undergoing treatment for liver ailment.
