A man who is accused of sexually abusing the nine-year-old daughter of his friend was arrested in Thiruvananthapuram on Wednesday.
Shijom (42), who was staying on rent at Maithri Nagar at Kalliyur was taken into custody based on a tip off.
The accused had been a friend of the child's mother. He has been remanded.
