Vizhinjam: In a tragic accident, a father and son were electrocuted at Chowara here on Friday.
Appukuttan, a native of Chowara, and his son Renil are the deceased.
The fatal incident occurred when the iron rod they were using to pluck coconuts got stuck in a 11KV electric line.
KSEB officials and police reached the site and initiated inquest proceedings.
