Palakkad: One person died in a blast that occurred at a steel factory in Kanjikode here in the wee hours of Tuesday.
The deceased is Aravindan (22), a native of Pathanamthitta.
Three migrant workers were also injured in the blast that happened around 6 am on Tuesday. They were admitted to a hospital.
The preliminary conclusion is that a furnace exploded.
