Kannur: Twenty-six people were injured in a major collision between a private bus and lorry near Pariyaram school on the national highway on Saturday.
The accident occurred around 9.50 am when a private bus en route to Taliparambu from Mathamangalam collided with an oncoming goods lorry.
All the injured individuals were rushed to the nearby Pariyaram Medical College Hospital for immediate medical attention.
