Thrissur: Mannuthy police here arrested two young men and seized six kilograms of ganja from them. According to police, the duo brought the ganja from Bengaluru for sale in Thrissur. Based on a tip-off received by the Commissioner, the District Anti-Narcotics Special Action Force (DANSAF) and Mannuthy police nabbed the accused in a joint operation.

The ganja was found in three specially packed parcels inside their bags. The accused are Libin (26), a resident of Kombidinjamakkal in Thrissur, and Stemin (23), a resident of Palluruthy, Ernakulam.

Bathery police in Wayanad had booked Libin for ganja trafficking earlier. Mannuthy Police Sub Inspector KC. Baiju, ASI Satheesh, and DANSAF members Anilkumar, Vipin Das, and Kisha were in the team who nabbed the accused.
