Kollam: Two people were killed, and three others sustained severe injuries after a car and a tourist bus collided at Nettethara on MC Road on Saturday night. The deceased are Saravanan and Shanmughan Achari, both residents of Nagercoil, reported Manorama News.

The victims were travelling in a Maharashtra-registered car when the accident occurred. The crash happened while they were returning from Sabarimala after offering prayers.
