Chendamangalam triple murder: Locals attack accused Rithu’s house; 2 in custody

Kochi: Police took two people into custody after locals attacked the house of Rithu Jayan, the accused in the Chendamangalam triple murder case. The attackers vandalised the window panes and part of the veranda of the house on Sunday.
Upon receiving the alert, police arrived at the scene and dispersed the crowd. A heavy police presence remains in the area to maintain order.
The accused's parents, who previously lived in the house, had moved to a relative’s residence following Rithu's involvement in the murder case. Further investigation into the incident is ongoing.
