Thrissur: A man swindled a 63-year-old visually challenged lottery vendor in Mankara by stealing 60 lottery tickets and deceitfully returned old, used tickets instead of cash. Kunjumon from Kinaramakkal House fell victim to the fraud near the Engakkad railway gate on Tuesday.
At around 8 am, an unidentified individual approached Kunjumon under the pretext of purchasing tickets. This marks the fourth time Kunjumon has been scammed in a similar manner. He complained with the Vadakkanchery police, who have registered a case and launched an investigation.
