Thiruvananthapuram: Air India Express has cancelled two flight services to the UAE from Thiruvananthapuram International Airport on Sunday, citing operational reasons. A flight to Dubai, which was scheduled to take off at 4.45 pm, and another to Abu Dhabi at 8.35 pm were cancelled.

Meanwhile, the Air India Express flight to Doha was delayed by 8 hours on Sunday. The flight, which was expected to arrive at the airport at 10.45 am, will now land only at 6.40 pm, reported Manorama News, quoting Air India Express.

The airline stated that all passengers were informed about the delay and cancellation in advance.

On July 19, an Air India Express flight from Hyderabad to Phuket was diverted back to Hyderabad shortly after departure due to a technical issue. According to the airline's spokesman, an alternative aircraft was arranged on priority and refreshments were provided to the passengers during the delay.
