Paravoor: Municipal chairperson Beena Shashidharan has inaugurated the e – waste collection camp by the municipality. Waste materials will be collected by paying the amount decided by the government for each item in kilogram. Camps were conducted at Market, Vrindavan, Municipal Park, Pallithazham, Kizhakkepram and Pullamkulam. The second phase of the e – waste collection camp would be help on August 9 at Thonyakavu, Kedamangalam, Perumbadanna and KMK Junction. The e waste collected by the Haritha Karma Sena would be handed to the Clean Kerala Company. Municipal vice chairman MK Raju, permanent committee president Saji Nambiathu, Syamala Govindan, VA Prabhavathy, PD Sukumari, Nimisha Rajan and CDS president Pushpalatha spoke at the event.
