Thrikkarippur: Nangarathu Sulaiman of Kunjikkundu, Meliyattu, who has championed the welfare of farmers for decades, amidst severe challenges in the agricultural sector and the exodus of many from the profession, has been honoured by the Thrikkarippur Jaycees.(JCI).

For years, Sulaiman has worked tirelessly to ensure farmers receive their rightful benefits from the Agriculture Department, along with quality seeds and saplings. Undeterred by age, he has remained active in the community, earning the Jaycees’ recognition at their `Salute' function for his unwavering dedication and excellence in farming.

At the same event, K Radha, a panchayat cleaning worker, was also felicitated. Jaycees president Reshma Viju presented the ponnada.

Secretary Shahana, C Krishnan, K V Krishna Prasad Vaidyar and others spoke on the occasion.
