Thrissur: A 74-year-old woman died after falling from a moving bus in Thrissur. The deceased is Nalini, wife of Sreedharan, from Peringatt House, Poovathur.

The incident happened at the Poochakkunnu bend while she was travelling to Poovathur. Nalini was walking towards the rear seat after boarding the vehicle when she lost her balance and fell against the door.

CCTV footage from inside the bus showed the conductor attempting to catch her before the fall, but he was unable to do so. The impact caused the door to open, and she fell onto the road.

She was rushed to a hospital in Parappur but could not be saved.
