Mukkam: The ‘high tech’ tuition centre started by a group of school students for younger children at Chelankunnu Unnathi in Gothambu Road at Kodiyathoor panchayat is grabbing attention. Class eight students are the teachers at this tuition centre where classrooms are separated by cloth curtains.

Now, this high-tech tuition centre called Pyumool has become viral on the social media for its unique vision and aim. Moreover, this tuition centre supports the academic dreams of young children of LP and UP classes. 

The quaint tuition centre functions on the first floor of Chelankunnu Anganwadi. TK Hadish, a class eight student of Kodiyathoor PTM Higher Secondary school is the ‘head master’. T Athul Suresh, A Aneesh, K Shahanan, P Muhammad Sanan and P Nadasha Chandran are the teachers here; all of them are students at the PTM Higher Secondary School. C Ajeesh and KT Afnan, meanwhile, serve as the office staff. 

More than ten children who study in various LP and UP classes in the Unnathi study at the tuition centre. The tuition centre also aims to enable and train the young children for various competitive exams in the future.
