Kottayam: Keerthana Sara Kiran is thrilled that transport minister KB Ganeshkumar has appreciated Yaathraakoottu, the website that she designed to share information about KSRTC’s city circular services in Thiruvananthapuram. She hardly imagined that her website would earn the transport minister’s praise when she launched her dream project. Keerthana, daughter of Thiruvanchoor native Kiran Joseph and KE Bindumol is a second-year engineering student at LBS Engineering College in Poojappura.

The idea to build a website that helps the passengers easily recognise the bus routes struck her, when the youngster noticed buses with numbers while waiting for the bus to Poojappura at the famous Thampanoor bus stand. It took three weeks for Keerthana to design the website. When the website that was designed with the support of the college came into the transport minister’s notice, he offered financial aid to host the site. Currently, Yaathraakoottu is available on the free hosting platform Vercel. Website - http://yaathraakoottu.vercel.app
