Wayanad: The serial road accident at Krishnagiri on Friday night has claimed two young lives, with another victim succumbing to his injuries on Saturday morning. The crash occurred when a bike and a scooter collided, following which the scooter went out of control and into a speeding car.

The deceased is Kizhakkepurakkal Anbijith (20), of Echome near Kalpetta. Thachambath Sivarag (19), of Mailambadi near Krishnagiri, died on Friday night. Two others remain under treatment at different hospitals.

According to police, the health condition of one of the hospitalised youth continues to be serious. The bodies were released to their families after post-mortem examinations on Saturday.
