Manjeri: More than 3000 cases were settled in the National Lok Adalat held under the leadership of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA).

The cases settled included those pending in the district's Magistrate Courts that could be resolved by paying fines, motor accident compensation cases, bank transaction-related cases, and electricity-related disputes.

Principal District Judge K Sanil Kumar, District Legal Services Authority Secretary M. Shabir Ibrahim, District Judges K Madhu, M Tushar, S Reshmi, K P Joy, Subitha Chirakkal, M P Shaijal, Sub Judge T V Vincy, and Munsiffs Vishnu Subhash, Ashwini Nalin, and C Sanu adjudicated the complaints.

Malappuram district settled the highest number of cases through the 'Mediation for the Nation' campaign programs.
