Minister Sivankutty complains of uneasiness, hospitalised

Thiruvananthapuram: Education Minister V Sivankutty complained of uneasiness while addressing the Assembly on Friday and was immediately rushed to the hospital.
According to his office, he became unwell after his glucose level dropped. Sources close to hospital confirmed that his condition is stable.
Around 10 minutes after the House proceedings commenced at 9 am, Sivankutty suddenly suffered some health issues, prompting many members of the ruling front to rush to his aid.
The minister reportedly fell ill during the Zero Hour session. Following this, Minister MB Rajesh stepped in to replace him.
The 14th Session of the 15th Kerala Assembly—its last session before this year’s local body polls—commenced on Monday. Though scheduled to conclude on October 10, the Assembly will sit for only 12 days.
