Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala government has declared Tuesday, September 30, 2025, as a public holiday in connection with the Navaratri celebrations (Poojavayppu).

According to the order, all government, quasi-government, and public sector institutions, along with establishments under the Negotiable Instruments Act, will remain closed. Educational institutions, including professional colleges, will also observe the holiday.

However, as the Legislative Assembly will be in session on the same day, officials assigned assembly-related duties must report for work, and heads of offices are directed to ensure compliance.
