Kottayam West Police have initiated action against the matrimony group ‘Solvo Matrimony’ for allegedly misusing the brand names of matrimonial portal M4Marry and Manorama Classifieds. The probe followed complaints that Solvo Matrimony ran Facebook advertisements using these brand names without permission.

An investigation led by SHO K R Prashanth Kumar revealed that a couple from Kundara was behind the operations of Solvo Matrimony. Both have admitted to the offence, the SHO said. Police have directed the removal of the Facebook pages. Authorities confirmed that Solvo Matrimony has no official association with M4Marry or Manorama Classifieds.
