Kasaragod's Odayanchal bus stand-cum-shopping complex inauguration tomorrow

Rajapuram: The Bus Stand cum Shopping Complex constructed by Kodom-Belur Panchayat in Odayanchal is becoming a reality after years of waiting.
Tomorrow morning, at 10.30 am, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the shopping complex. E Chandrasekharan MLA will preside over the function. Rajmohan Unnithan will participate as the chief guest.
The building, which has 43 shop rooms, was constructed at a cost of ₹8.14 crore on 2.80 acres of land purchased by the Panchayat. In the second phase of the project, the construction of the bus stand yard will also be completed.
Permission has been received from the Public Works Department to renovate the front part of the commercial complex by laying interlock tiles up to the Kanhangad-Panathur state highway and to install electric lights. The work will be completed urgently.
On the inauguration day itself, a new KSRTC bus service from Odayanchal to Iritty will commence, informed Panchayat President P Sreeja, Vice President P Damodaran, members P Gopi, M V Jagannath, and Planning Committee member T V Jayachandran.
