Thrissur: A three-month-old infant was found dead at her house at Kunnamkulam here on Wednesday. The deceased is the daughter of Kunnamkulam natives Abhishek and Anjali.

Reportedly, the baby was fed and put to sleep on Tuesday night. However, by the following morning, the parents noticed no movement and rushed her to a private hospital, where she was declared dead.

An initial assessment suggests that the infant may have choked on milk while sleeping. However, hospital authorities said that the cause of the death could only be confirmed after a postmortem examination.
