Thrissur: Kadannappally Ramachandran, Minister for Registration, Museums and Archaeology, was admitted to Thrissur Medical College Hospital on Saturday morning after experiencing chest pain.

The minister had arrived in Thrissur by Vande Bharat Express to attend a Registration Department event when he developed discomfort. Following a preliminary examination at the district hospital, he was shifted to the medical college hospital on the doctor’s advice.

According to the hospital’s medical bulletin, the minister is under observation. He is also being treated for fever and a respiratory infection.
