Kochi: Music lovers in the city are in for a treat! Renowned German band Buck Roger & The Sidetrackers will perform in Kochi on Sunday as part of the Hortus Art and Literature Festival organised by Malayala Manorama. The musical extravaganza will be held at 7 pm at the Chavara Cultural Centre.

The Hortus Art & Literature Festival will take place from November 27 to 30 at Subhash Park, Kochi.

The German band’s performance is being organised in association with Goethe-Zentrum. Hailing from Munich, the band is known for its unique fusion of rock, swing, blues, and folk music.

Buck Roger & The Sidetrackers are celebrated for blending traditional American music with modern genres, while also showcasing their versatility in styles such as folk and Schlager.

The group has earned a wide fan base across Europe for its simple yet soulful compositions, easily relatable lyrics, and melodious tunes — a musical style that few contemporary European bands follow.

Entry to the concert is free, but attendees are required to register by scanning a QR code.
