The event will bring together over two lakh participants, including 400+ experts and 30+ artists, across 30+ panel discussions, 25+ workshops, and 15+ masterclasses.
A key highlight this year is the emphasis on public participation alongside global thinkers, policymakers, industry leaders, academicians and students. Through a state-wide campaign, citizens will be invited to contribute their ideas and visions for Kerala’s future, with selected proposals presented to expert panels during the summit.
Popular attractions from the previous edition, such as celebrity performances, Robo Verse, Students' Biennale, Music Night, Food Street, Flea Market and Dance Kochi, will make a return. New features this year include Kerala’s largest Auto Expo, E-sports Game Verse, Human Library and a spectacular Drone Show, promising an even more immersive experience.
In the run-up to the main event, two flagship initiatives, Idea Fest 2025 and Speak for Future, have been launched to engage young minds. Idea Fest 2025, a hybrid innovation challenge, invites final-year undergraduate students from Kerala and Plus Two students from Kerala and the Gulf region to participate. The event includes an online Design Thinking workshop in early November, followed by on-campus finals on November 21–22.
Speak for Future calls for undergraduate, postgraduate, and higher secondary students to submit five-minute video speeches on “Future in My Perspective” using the hashtag #SpeakForTheFuture. Entries close on January 10, 2026.
A central goal of the summit is to advance the work of the Future Kerala Mission, launched during the first edition to pursue long-term sustainability objectives. Ongoing initiatives include environmental restoration efforts such as the eradication of water hyacinth.
The inaugural Summit of Future set new benchmarks, earning recognition in the Asia Book of Records and the India Book of Records as the largest gathering of experts discussing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). With over 1 lakh attendees, 317 speakers, and 15+ artists, it featured 115+ sessions, 50+ masterclasses and unique events like Kerala’s first Tesla showcase, CEO Launch, Principals’ Conference, and Influencer Meet. The summit, whose logo was launched by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, generated over 1.5 crore online impressions, 200+ media stories, and 125+ hours of video content.
“The Summit of the Future is a remarkable platform that brings together people from all walks of life.
