Mavelikkara: Adityan is radiating charm and confidence as he is ready to take on life. The youngster, with his grit and hard work, has risen from the ashes to fly high. Thazhakkara Kunnam Poikavadakethil native Aditya Krishnan (21) is grateful to the people who have supported and helped him as he opened a brand-new mobile repairing shop near Pinumood Junction at Chacko Road yesterday.
The road accident that turned Adityan’s life upside down had happened at around 7.30 pm on October 25, at Mangamkuzhi Pallimukku. Adityan’s bike collided with another bike and he sustained severe head injury. Malayala Manorama had then reported the plight of his father Unnikrishnan who does painting works and mother Sreelekha who were helpless as they couldn’t afford Adityan’s surgery.
Following this, many had expressed willingness to help the family and donated money for Adityan’s treatment. The accident happened when he was studying for mobile technician course at a private institute in Changanassery.
Adityan was bedridden for over a year after the accident. It was his father who used to take him to the institute in Changanassery to complete the course. Gradually, Adityan regained health and began going to the institute in bus. After completing the course, Adityan tried to secure a bank loan for opening a mobile repairing shop. When he couldn’t secure the loan, Adityan pawned the gold ornaments lent by his mother and relatives to fulfil his dreams.
Meanwhile, Adityan is still undergoing treatment as the right side of his body hasn’t completely regained health. Adityan’s mobile repairing shop was inaugurated by deputy tehsildar at the RDO office Stanley John by lighting the lamp. His friends and relatives were present to congratulate Adityan and to wish him luck.
