Pulloor: Higher Education Minister R Bindu on Saturday inaugurated the boat ride at the Chirayoram Tourism Project in Pothumbuchira, Pulloor, the first tourist destination to be developed in the Irinjalakkuda Assembly constituency.

Panchayat president Jose J Chittilappally presided over the function. The boating facility will be open to visitors daily from 4.30 PM to 6.30 PM.

District Panchayat Vice President Latha Chandran, Panchayat Vice President Rathi Gopi, ICL Fincorp Director Hareendranath, Operations Manager Babu, Reji Paul, Sam Sebastian, Standing Committee Chairman K U Vijayan and Panchayat members Thomas Thokalah, M S Sunil Kumar, Niji Valsan, Sreejith Pattath, Rosmi Jayesh, Mani Sajayan and Nikitha Anoop spoke on the occasion. Vellookkara Panchayat member Leena and Secretary M Shalini were also present.
