Alappuzha: Two young men from Alappuzha were killed in a road accident in Bhopal on Saturday night. The deceased are Ananthu Ajith and Vishnu Raghunath — both national-level kayakers and Navy personnel.

Anandhu had joined the Indian Navy just last week.

The families of the deceased were informed about the tragedy on Sunday morning. It is learnt that the duo died after their motorbike collided with another vehicle.
