Thiruvananthapuram: As part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, around 64 lakh enumeration forms have been distributed across Kerala so far, said Chief Electoral Officer Dr Rathan U Kelkar.

As of 6 pm on Sunday, 23.14% of the total forms, about 64,45,755, had been distributed, though the actual figure is likely higher as all Booth Level Officers (BLOs) have not yet uploaded their data, he added.

During a video conference with district collectors, Dr Kelkar directed that BLOs must complete the first phase of form distribution by November 25. The progress of BLOs will be closely monitored by Electoral Registration Officers (EROs), Assistant EROs, and BLO supervisors, he added.

Dr Kelkar also noted that Kerala is on track to complete the first phase of the SIR process before the November 25 deadline.
