Pathanamthitta: Despite the recent resurfacing of the TK Road, safety concerns persist, with damaged road edges left unattended and several electric poles tilting dangerously toward the roadway.

It has been a month since the potholes were filled and the stretch opened to traffic. However, at Manakkachira junction, one electric pole now leans so precariously that residents fear it could collapse onto the road at any moment, posing a serious threat to motorists. 

Locals say that several poles along the route are in a similar state, many supported only by the tension of overhead wires, yet no corrective action has been taken so far.
