The Southern Railway has announced the cancellation, diversion and regulation of several train services between 21 and 23 November as the replacement works of steel girders with PSC girders on Bridge No. 128 in the Mavelikara–Chengannur section will take place.
Here are the trains that are affected:
Full Cancellation
Train No. 66310 Kollam Junction–Ernakulam Junction Express, scheduled to depart Kollam at 21.05 hrs on 22 November, will remain fully cancelled.

Partial Cancellation

• Train No. 16327 Madurai–Guruvayur Express (11.35 hrs, 22 Nov) will be short-terminated at Kollam, cancelling its run to Guruvayur.
• Train No. 16328 Guruvayur–Madurai Express (05.50 hrs, 23 Nov) will be partially cancelled between Guruvayur and Kollam. The train will start from Kollam at 12.10 hrs.
• Train No. 16366 Nagercoil–Kottayam Express (13.00 hrs, 22 Nov) will be short-terminated at Kayamkulam Junction, cancelling the Kayamkulam–Kottayam stretch.
• Train No. 12695 MGR Chennai Central–Thiruvananthapuram Central Superfast Express (15.20 hrs, 21 Nov) will be short-terminated at Kottayam.
• Train No. 12696 Thiruvananthapuram Central–MGR Chennai Central Superfast Express (17.15 hrs, 22 Nov) will be partially cancelled up to Kottayam, from where it will originate at 20.05 hrs.

Train Diversions
Multiple long-distance trains will be diverted via Alappuzha, skipping their usual stops in the Kottayam corridor. Additional stoppages have been provided accordingly.

• 16629 Thiruvananthapuram–Mangaluru Central Malabar Express
• 22503 Kanniyakumari–Dibrugarh Vivek SF Express
• 16343 Thiruvananthapuram–Rameswaram Amrita Express
• 16349 Thiruvananthapuram North–Nilambur Road Rajyarani Express
• 16347 Thiruvananthapuram–Mangaluru Central Express

Regulation
Three trains will be regulated for 30 minutes en route:

• Train No. 66322 Kollam–Ernakulam MEMU Express (04.20 hrs, 23 Nov)
• Train No. 16791 Tuticorin–Palakkad Palaruvi Express (22.00 hrs, 22 Nov)
• Train No. 16304 Thiruvananthapuram–Ernakulam Vanchinad Express (17.45 hrs, 22 Nov)
