Idukki/Kattappana: A 28-year-old man died in a two-wheeler collision near Periyonkavala at Vellilamkandam in Kattappana on Friday night. The deceased, Kandathil Jinson Das of Kozhimala, suffered fatal head injuries. Three others, including his brother Jaison (22), were injured.

The accident happened around 8.20 pm when Jinson and Jaison were riding towards Kattappana. After overtaking a private bus, their two-wheeler collided with Nikhil's bike, who was travelling towards Elappara. Nikhil and pillion rider Vishnupriya of Puthenpurackal, both from Elappara Chinnar, were also injured.

The force of the collision threw the riders onto the road, causing Jinson to fall in front of the bus. He was immediately taken to a private hospital in Kattappana but succumbed to his injuries.
