11-year-old killed after being hit by train in Malappuram

Malappuram: An 11-year-old boy died after being hit by a train while he was crossing the railway tracks at Chettippadi on Saturday evening.
The deceased has been identified as Ameen Shah, son of Fayisal Puthiya Nalakath, a resident of Chettippadi. The accident occurred around 5 pm when the boy was crossing the tracks with his cousin.
The authorities have shifted the body to the Tirurangadi taluk hospital mortuary for further procedures.
