Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala government is set to present the state Budget on January 29, with Finance Minister K N Balagopal expected to table the final Supplementary Financial Statement for 2025–26 and present the Budget for the 2026–27 financial year.

This will be the final Budget of the second Left Democratic Front (LDF) government led by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.

The 16th session of the 15th Kerala Legislative Assembly will begin on January 20 with the Governor’s policy address. The House will pay tributes to deceased prominent personalities and former legislators on January 21, followed by a discussion on the motion of thanks to the Governor’s address on January 22.
