Pathanamthitta: A 19-year-old youth was found hanging from the ceiling fan at his residence at Koodal on Monday. The deceased is Kaalidhas Anup (19), from Malamkottaram, Koodal, Pathanamthitta. 

According to the FIR, Kaalidhas died between 9 pm on January 3 and 4.45 am on January 4. His body was found in the dining room of the family residence. The police also recovered a note, but its contents have not been disclosed. 

Koodal police said an investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of death.

According to locals, Kaalidhas had been living with his father, stepmother, and half-siblings at the time of the incident.
