The United Democratic Front (UDF) has secured a decisive victory in the 2026 Kerala Assembly elections, securing 102 seats in the 140-member House. A strong wave of anti-incumbency has hit the ruling Left Democratic Front (LDF), with several senior ministers losing in their respective constituencies.
Veena George – Aranmula
Health Minister Veena George has lost in Aranmula. UDF candidate Abin Varkey Kodiyattu won the seat, while BJP leader Kummanam Rajasekharan finished third.
V Sivankutty – Nemom
General Education Minister V Sivankutty has lost in Nemom, where BJP leader Rajeev Chandrasekhar secured victory in a high-profile contest.
M B Rajesh – Thrithala
In Thrithala, minister M B Rajesh has been defeated by UDF’s V T Balram, marking a comeback for the Congress leader.
V N Vasavan – Ettumanoor
