A strong wave of anti-incumbency appears to have hit the ruling Left Democratic Front (LDF), with several senior ministers, including Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, trailing in their respective constituencies.
Pinarayi Vijayan – Dharmadam
In a major upset, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan is trailing in Dharmadam. Congress leader V P Abdul Rasheed has taken a lead of over 2,000 votes, capitalising on local discontent in what has long been considered a CPM stronghold.
Veena George – Aranmula
