Kollam Sailors delivered a spectacular bowling performance against Thrissur Titans, restricting them to just 86 runs and chasing down the target in just 9 overs to secure their place in the final of the Kerala Cricket League on Friday.

Bharath Soorya and Abhishek Nair remained unbeaten on 56 and 32 respectively, stitching together a 92-run stand in 9.5 overs to steer Kollam into their second consecutive final.

Earlier, every Kollam bowler who took the field claimed at least one wicket, showcasing a collective effort with the ball.

Thrissur got off to a steady start, with openers Anand Krishnan and Ahammed Imran putting together a 36-run partnership by the fifth over. However, momentum shifted when Imran was bowled for 13 by Pavan Raj. Two overs later, Kollam captain Sachin Baby dismissed Anand for 23, triggering a collapse in the Titans' batting line-up.
