India complete clean sweep; KL Rahul finishes with an unbeaten half-century

India did what was expected of them and completed the 2-0 whitewash of the touring West Indies side on the fifth day of the second Test in New Delhi on Tuesday. Opener KL Rahul struck an unbeaten half-century and scored the remaining 58 runs to overhaul the 121-run target in 35.2 overs.
Rahul struck 58 not out off 108 balls and shared a 79-run second-wicket partnership with Sai Sudharsan (39 off 76 balls). Off-spinner Roston Chase (2 for 36) dismissed both Sudarshan and Indian captain Shubman Gill (13 off 15 balls) to dent India's charge to victory. But the target was too low to pose any serious challenges to the home team.
This is the first Test in India against the West Indies to have gone into the fifth day since 2011, and Gill's first series victory as India's Test captain.
