Ahmedabad has been chosen to host the 2026 T20 World Cup final, while Bengaluru does not feature among the other venues shortlisted by the BCCI.

Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai and Mumbai are the other Indian cities that will host the World Cup in addition to three grounds in Sri Lanka, which will act as neutral venues for Pakistan.

The Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru has missed out, just like during the recently held Women's ODI World Cup, in the wake of the stampede outside the stadium in June.

If Pakistan reach the final, the match will be played in Sri Lanka. The BCCI and PCB have an agreement in place till 2027, as per which India and Pakistan will play all their games at neutral venues in events hosted by either of the nations. India are the defending champions, having lifted the title in Barbados last June.
