Last ball: 3 runs; Super Over: 0; Wide to end match. How India-A lost a cliffhanger to Bangladesh-A

The first semifinal of the Asia Cup Rising Stars tournament in Doha between India A and Bangladesh A was the perfect example of how quickly fortunes can turn in a T20 match. India suffered a heartbreaking exit in the Super Over immediately after taking three runs off a dramatic final ball to tie the match on Friday.
Pacer Ripon Mondol was the hero of the Bangladeshis, while the Indian batters have only themselves to blame for trying too much in the Super Over. Captain Jitesh Sharma attempted an audacious reverse scoop to a yorker and was bowled. Ashutosh Sharma miscued a second yorker and got caught at extra cover as India's Super Over ended without a run.
Bangladesh did not make it any easier for themselves as Yasir Ali tried to win it with a six, but was caught brilliantly on the ropes by Ramandeep Singh.
But Suyash Sharma's second ball was given a wide, making it an unusual yet memorable win for Bangladesh.
Bangladesh had posted 194/6 in 20 overs with opener Habibur Rahman making 65 and S M Meherob clubbing an unbeaten 48 off 18. Vaibhav Suryavanshi (38) and Priyansh Arya (44) gave a powerful start, adding 53 off just 3.3 balls.
Needing 16 off the last over, India took two singles before Ashutosh hit Rakibul Hasan for a six in the third ball. He was lucky to be dropped and fetch a boundary the next ball, but was dismissed in the penultimate delivery.
Then came the turning point, when Harsh Dubey miscued a shot and ran a slow single, only to be pushed for a second by Nehal Wadhera. But Captain Akbar Ali did something silly behind the wicket as he tried to run out Dubey by throwing at the stumps, when he could have casually removed the bails. He missed, and India completed a third run to tie the match. But all that advantage was lost in the Super Over.
