Rostov-on-Don: Nacer Chadli's injury time strike helped Belgium come from behind to beat Japan 3-2 in their World Cup last 16 clash, here on Monday. Chadli, who came as a sustitute scored the winner in the 94th minute after Belgian keeper Thibaut Courtois triggered a lightning counter attack.
After a goalless first half, Japan's Genki Haraguchi broke the deadlock in the 48th minute as Vertonghen was unable to cut out the through-ball. Then, Takshi Inui doubled their lead in the 52nd minute as the Belgian players gave him too much time on the edge of the box.
Marouane Fellaini scored a header in the 74th minute from a cross by Eden Hazard after Jan Vertonghen pulled one back for the Red Devils in the 69th minute.
