Paul Pogba was one of the stars of France's triumphant campaign in the FIFA World Cup. The Manchester United playmaker scored only a couple of goals at Russia 2018, but his role as a defensive midfielder came in for praise from various quarters. Now a video of Pogba firing up his teammates ahead of Les Bleus' pre-quarterfinal clash against Argentina has gone viral on social media.

"I want to see warriors on the field guys," Pogba told his teammates. "I don't want to go home!

"We will finish happy! I want to party tonight. I want to be dead on the field, all together! I want men, warriors, soldiers.

"Today we will kill them. Messi or no Messi I don't care! We came to win this f*****g World Cup!"

France scored a thrilling 4-3 win over Argentina to seal a place in the quarterfinals.

France won their second World Cup title, with an exciting 4-2 win over Croatia in the final. Pogba scored a goal in the second half.
