Kerala Premier League: Kerala United crush Wayanad United, get closer to final

Wayanad: Kerala United FC have the Kerala Premier League final in sight after crushing Wayanad United 3-0 in the first leg of their semifinals in Wayanad on Monday.

The two teams will clash again on Wednesday in the second leg and if Kerala United avoid a heavy defeat they will march into the final.

Nigerian striker Ezekiel Oroh opened the scoring in the 13th minute. Manoj M and Vanlalmalsawma scored late in the second half to ensure a comfortable victory for the visitors.

In the first leg of the second semifinal, Gokulam Kerala FC will take on Kovalam FC at the same venue in Kalpetta on Tuesday.
