The Kerala Football Association has named Satheevan Balan as the head coach of the Kerala team for the Santosh Trophy National Football Championship.
Balan, who is an Asian Football Confederation A Licence holder, coached Kerala to glory in the 2018 edition.
P K Azeez is the assistant coach, while Harshal Rahman has been named as the goalkeeping coach for the tournament to be held next month.
Seven-time champions Kerala, who crashed out in the group stage of the final round last season, will be eager to bounce back this time around.
